Surveys are Out!

Hi Backers,
Wes just sent out the Backerkit surveys this morning. Go check your e-mail and double check your junk mail if you don’t see it. A very small percentage of you might have received the e-mail earlier, as we sent a small test run out on Monday. If you don't see it at all head over to this survey recovery page.
Please make sure all of your information is accurate so we can get you your rewards when they are ready. You can also add on the item cards if you haven’t already, or even upgrade from digital to physical rewards.
The Backerkit is open for late pledges to pre-order copies of Beyond Deep, so if you know anyone else that is interested, point them to the Backerkit preorder page, and if they want more info they can still look at the Kickstarter campaign for details.
Now get those surveys filled out and you’ll hear from us again in November, if not before.

October Monthly Update

Hi Backers!
I didn’t feel like waiting one more day until it was officially October, so here is your October monthly update.
Writing
All the writing is done! That means the last bits of what we were working on, plus all the new material from stretch goals, and six side quests we went ahead and threw in are all written and approved. We’ve done one editing pass on the text so far, and someone much smarter than us and not actively part of the writing will do another very soon.
Art
We are getting more art in, and the big news is that we have increased the art budget once again to really get the all the pieces we need at the quality we want. I’ve seen 7 of the 10 items now, plus several NPCs and monsters and Cassa is killing it. Wulf also has all the information for the maps and character sheet, and has started some rough sketches. Everything is on track with our timeline.
Layout
Since we have a good chunk of art, and we have everything written, Wes is going to start work on the proper layout of the book this weekend. He’s has all his spooky skills and dark magical gifts ready to get this done and make it look great.
Backerkit and Surveys
We are working on our Backerkit and getting everything set up. Some time next week you’ll receive your Backerkit invitation and survey. Our plan is to have it set up so you can not only confirm your information for PDFs and physical copies, but also upgrade pledges and even add on the tarot cards if you missed them during the campaign. We will also have the Backerkit open for late pledges, so if you know someone that missed out on the Kickstarter, send them that way once it’s set up.
That’s the news for now, and we will send out an update at the beginning of every month going forward.

Breakdown of Stretch Goals and What is to Come.

Hi Backers!
I wanted to give you a peak at what the final project will now entail, and what all the stretch goals you carried us across mean for Beyond Deep.
Beyond Deep
You've seen the pitch and you've backed the project. We are excited to share that Beyond Deep has developed into not just an adventure at this point, but a sort of locale as well. The town of Bereleah will feature seven discrete locations, including a four level mine, seven high-profile NPCs, and not only the main adventure story, but several additional side quests and encounters. We want Bereleah to feel alive and explorable. We are looking at an 80-100 page book at this point. Below I also listed out the impact of the stretch goals.

Item Deck Add-On
- For those that added on the item deck, your deck of 10 tarot size cards will be shipped along with your physical book. They will feature the art on the card front, and all the rules and lore of the item on the card back.
Wes and I are working on writing the expansions to the book right now, and should be done within the next week. I will post another update around then to layout the rest of the timeline.

Thank You to all of our backers!
There were 376 of you that came alongside us and brought Beyond Deep to life. We appreciate your faith and support, and this will end up being a radical book because of you.
Now What?
Now, it comes back to us to take Beyond Deep the rest of the way, and then get it out into the world and your waiting hands. In the next week we will do an update with a final run down of all the stretch goals and where the project ended up. After that, we will do another update to share the production timelines, and going forward we will keep you in the loop each step of the way.

Important Update - Tarot Card Add On!

Hi Backers,
We’ve been in the shop working on some ideas and reading your surveys, and we have put something together for you! A ten card tarot deck of all the wicked and powerful items in Beyond Deep for only $8. The card front will have art and basic info, and the back will contain the lore and full rules for each item. We wanted something that looked great, that you could easily hand to your players. The art and layout aren’t final yet, but here's a preview to give you a good idea of what they will look like. Also, there is no additional charge for shipping, these will get packed in with your physical pledge if you add them on.
The next update will be when we hit $6k.
